How to build a garden shed.
A few months ago i looked at my shed and thought, time i bought a new shed. I checked the prices and nearly had a heart attack they are so expensive, so i decided to bulid my own garden shed.
Step one.
Make sure you have the right tools for the job, you no doubt have them already, hammer, electric drill, nails, screws, wood glue, saw. Just basic tools.
Step two.
Decide where your garden shed is going and clear the area and make sure it is dead level, you don’t want a shed that only looks level when you have had a beer or three.
Step three.
Get some shed plans you can find them free if you look hard enough, they are pretty basic shed plans but they are free. Be careful though, i saw an ad for 12000 shed plans for $47 and bought them, i got a refund within 15 minutes that’s how bad they were. I used plans that i got for $29 at usfreeads they are HERE if you want them.
Step four.
Get the wood ordered, much cheaper to buy not cut to size then what i do is print the plan i am going to use then label each pictured piece a,b,c,d,e,f etc then cut each piece of wood and label that to.
Step five.
Time for some hard but very rewarding work. When all is done you will have a garden shed to be proud of not only because it looks better than those in the stores but because YOU built it from scratch.
